In case of inclement weather, we may need to cancel CommU classes. Please check our QC CommUniversity Facebook page.

CommUniversity is excited to be celebrating its 40th year of providing entertaining, informative and exciting classes to the Quad Cities. Each February, more than 500 students gather from 2 - 4 p.m. every Sunday afternoon for a wide ranging number of classes. Subjects include everything from arts to philosophy to personal development.

On the first Sunday all CommUniversity participants meet in St. Ambrose University's Rogalski Center Ballroom on second floor at 1 p.m. for the annual keynote address and official kick-off. Following the keynote, everyone proceeds to their first class session.

This will be the 40th and final year of CommUniversity. There are many devoted volunteer board members who have kept CommU going all of these years. We plan to have a final After Glow reception on Sunday, February 23, 2019 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Rogalski Center Ballroom at St. Ambrose. The current CommU board would like to invite any former CommUniversity board members from the past forty years to come to the reception to mark the conclusion of this wonderful program.

CommUniversity is annual non-profit event coordinated by a board of directors comprised of individuals from local colleges, churches, libraries and other community organizations.
